And you can use either your physical or virtual card as a travel Mastercard.
Compared to most credit cards that charge anywhere from 2-3% in foreign transaction (FX) fees, you’ll only be charged 1.5% on non-Canadian transactions with your KOHO card. You can avoid these charges by signing up for the Extra or Everything plan for no FX fees on non-Canadian transactions. That means, in addition to earning 2% cash back on things like dining out, or picking up some groceries in the local corner store, you can also save more on FX fees while travelling.

You can quickly lock and unlock both your Virtual and physical cards in-app by clicking on the card image on the Spend screen > Lock card. While your physical card is locked, you can still add and use your virtual card through mobile wallets like ApplePay, GooglePay, and Samsung Pay. If you don’t find your physical card, tap on Request a New Card instead.
